Cleaning your cutting or serving board is incredibly easy. With hot water, add whichever anti bacterial soap you prefer. Wet and ring out a dish rag and wipe off the board. Quickly running hot water over the board is ok, but avoid submerging it and placing it in the dishwasher.

With a clean board, we recommend applying a thin coat of our Wood Shaper Studio Cutting Board Wax. a relatively small amount is needed and can be applied with a buffer pad or rag. Wipe any excess off with a paper towel and allow to air dry.

All Wood Shaper Studio boards are built with 4 threaded inserts. A rubber foot screws into the insert. If the board becomes uneven from moisture absorption, you can use an allen wrench to rotate the threaded insert counter clockwise and re thread the foot again. Only a slight adjustment is need to raise a corner of the board.

Once your board is cleaned, allowing air flow on both the top and bottom is recommended to reduce any chance of warping. We suggest storing it on its side or on a cutting board rack.
